internet connection

Hi,

I want to download some data from a server using

Import["http://myServer/data.txt";]

and I get the message

FetchURL::conopen: The connection to
http://myServer/data.txt cannot be opened.


Do you know how to force Mathematica/Windows/FireWall/Whatever to open
the connection

I have Windows XP and MAthematica 5.2
