Hello Murray,
	You need to be working with a project. Create a project, let say
Basic, then double click on the .m file.
Go over the editing window and right click on it. There you should see the
Source sub-menu.

I'm following along with Tom Wickham-Jones' screencasts from
http://www.wolfram.com/products/workbench/workflow/
that show a typical workflow.

The second screencast, "Projects and Code Editing", shows an entry 
"Source" on the main menu.  Where/how does one get to that menu entry in 
Workbench 1.1?
