However, the Yahoo finance site, gets its data from other sources which are detailed in the fine print at the bottom of the "historical data" page for any security. Quote: "Historical chart data and daily updates provided by Commodity Systems, Inc. (CSI). International historical chart data and daily updates provided by Hemscott Americas. Fundamental company data provided by Capital IQ." I am familiar with CSI and know that all the yahoo historical data for domestic issues comes from them. You can obtain a CSI account without going through Yahoo, for a fee. Almost certainly the restrictions on the data refer to redistribution beyond your personal use. Regards, Don
