Hello. I just went on a trip to Europe, and I have a valid license of Mathematica 5.0. I changed the windows timezone to GMT+3hours. Immediately Mathematica requested me to reenter the license, and then it asked me to contact their servers for registrations. Back in the U.S., with the old time zone, the program worked fine, and did not request any registration, I only needed to enter the license key and that's it. I changed the time zone back to the original setting and everything worked fine, Mathematica requested no registration and started up in full working mode immediately. Then I decided to play around with other time zones, and found that Mathematica requested a reregistration in time zones from GMT+3hours to GMT+8hours. Otherwise it just started normally. What the heck is going on, and why does Mathematica discriminate time zones in such a way? Any explanations would be helpful!
