Units package in v6

Hello,

The Convert function in the Units package doesn't seem to error check very 
well. Is it just me or is the following odd behavior

Convert[12 Mega Inch, Mackeral]

304800 Meter

In v5.2, this would have generated an error about the units being 
incompatible.
