Well, of course. But I don't care about this and  Rip Pelletier, who  
started this thread, has made it clear that neither does he (any  
longer).  What seems to me interesting is that this functionality  
appears to have been deliberately removed (at the last moment before  
release). Since I do not think WRI would introduce an incompatibility  
just to increase the fun some users are having trying to make their  
old notebooks compatible with Mathemaitca 6.0, there has to be some  
other reason. But what could that be?
