Yesterday I noticed a very, very useful new thing concerning TagBoxes in Mathematica 6. (But I'm not sure if this was already implemented in Mathematica 5.2.) In earlier versions, such boxes (including InterpretationBox) were somewhat "fragile" in that one could easily lose the hidden information during copying and pasting. It was necessary to carefully triple-click an expression with a TagBox in order to paste it intact in another place.

In Mathematica 6 we have the option SelectWithContents, which is set to False by default. However, when set to True, it gives exactly what I was expecting for years: "robust" TagBoxes that can be copied and pasted without problems.
