Hi All,

there was a recent and legit posting from someone who had an extra
copy of Mathematica with Premium Service for sale - except I saw it too late -
rats.

I have seen questionable postings of Mathematica for sale on Ebay, Craigslist
and also PW cracked versions on many bit torrent type sites - all of
which I avoid.

Having said that - I can also not afford the current price of Mathematica and
am not enrolled as a student anywhere.

I truly enjoy exploring mathematics and have used Mathematica for so long that
it is hard to change to another CAS.

How does one go about finding legitimate copies for sale of Mathematica where
someone will properly transfer their license?

I am a registered owner of version 4 - the last version I was able to
afford given my job.

Is there a site or is this moderated forum the right place to ask for
people trying to sell legit copies?

Thank you for any pointers.

[My preference on this issue is the following - if you have a
copy of Mathematica you want to sell legally or if you want to
buy a "used" copy legally, send a note to me at this group. I
will collect such information and distribute it to those interested.
I do not want the group to be full of buy or sell posts, so this
seems to be one way to do it. I am open to comments - Steve Christensen,
