I am having the same problem with the Documetation Center (limited search functionality). I note now that when I start Mathematica, the following message appears in the Messages window: During evaluation of In[1]: Needs::nocont: Context PacletManager` was not created when Needs was evaluated. I am not sure where this message is created or when. Thanks! -Tony
