JLink`Java::excptn: error

Hi all,

I am importing a Netcdf(.nc) file using Mathematica 6.0.
I get an error message for one of the variables inside my nc.file which I
assume it can be because of its size.This is the error message I get:
JLink`Java::excptn: A Java exception occurred: \
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space.

Do you have any idea how i can solve it?
