Coming up on my 19th anniversary with Mathematica. I, too, started  
with version 1.2 on the Mac. The first Mac I ran it on was an SE/30  
just like the photo in the blog. I eventually upgraded to with 20  
Megabytes RAM, just to run Mathematica better.
