Start a shell (xterm, konsole) and issue this command emerge media-fonts/mathematica-fonts Or copy the contents of the the directory /usr/local/Wolfram/ Mathematica/6.0/SystemFiles/Fonts/ in your ~/.fonts directory Hope this helps, Julius
