Graphics Issue MacBook Pro & Mathematica 6.0.1.0

I'm running Mathematica 6.0.1.0 on a MacBook Pro (Intel processor) and OS
10.4.11.  I am unable to get it to display graphics, e.g., Plot[].  When I
load it on a G5 Mac same OS, everything works fine.

Has anyone experienced this issue?
