Well, this is pretty discouraging, so let me just ask a simple
question: Does anyone have any idea of what could cause NDSolve to
diagnose a set of equations submitted to it as being delay type *other
than* explicit delay arguments (e.g. somefunc[dependentvariable[t-c]])
appearing in those equations?
