Hello!

I have just purchased my private version of mathematica and was really happy that everything was running smoothly - now it is not any more... I tried to access the data base on pacletserver.wolfram.com. I went through all the proxy stuff, but I cannot find a mistake. I have an Ubuntu 9.0.4 Linux system. If I look at my firewall, all I get is

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
REJECT tcp -- anywhere ip-213-203-200-70.abacho.net reject-with icmp-port-unreachable
REJECT tcp -- anywhere 66.230.180.250 reject-with icmp-port-unreachable

So, this page should not be blocked.

When I type in netstat, I am wold it was listening.

So, has anyone here an idea, what is wrong. My firefox works with the same settings.

Thanks!

Simon
