Hi,

assume your list has the name lst. Try this:
Mean[lst[[18000;;67500]]]

Have success. Alexei

Hi,

I have a text file with over 100,000 different values. After
importing this data into Mathematica, I'd like to have the program
average specific parts of this data. For example, I'd like to find
the mean of values 18,000 to 67,500. Is there some variation of the
'Mean' command or other that would do this?

Thanks!!
