The function below seems to make what you are looking for:

accumulatedList[n_Integer] :=
   Prepend[Table[w[i], {i, 1, n}] // Accumulate, 0];

accumulatedList[5]

{0, w[1], w[1] + w[2], w[1] + w[2] + w[3], w[1] + w[2] + w[3] + w[4],
  w[1] + w[2] + w[3] + w[4] + w[5]}

Hi,

I like to create a list of the form:
0,w[1],...,w[n],w[1]+w[2],...,w[1]+w[n],w[2]+w[3],......,w[1]+...+w[n]
for arbitrary n
Is there a neat way to do this?
