I wonder what could be the reason for this long computation time for FullSimplify using M9 vs. M8. Does M9's FullSimplify check (significantly) more possible simplifications that M8's? According to the docs, FullSimplify hasn't been modified since M6 - but I guess changes in the simplification rules are not included in this counting... |
