I have just purchased a student edition of Mathematica. I believe that I can only install it on one computer. I would really like to have it on my laptop...but my laptop has only dialup internet access while my home desktop has DSL.
My first question... is "easy" interent access necessary to use Mathematica effectively? I would also like to know if anyone can confirm my understanding that Mathematica for students can only be installed on one computer. If that is the case, what happens if the computer I have installed it on crashes, is stolen, or I buy a new computer?
Really, really, need someones input on which computer I should install this on. If I only get one install, I don't want to make the wrong choice!
