I attempt to differentiate the following question in Mathematica 5.2 but it seem it does not give the result expected.
Given y= (1/Sqrt(3x^2+1))^3
In mathematica I put:
D[1/Sqrt[3x^2+1],x]
But it seem cannot get the required answer of:
-9x/(3x^2+1)^5/2
Please help on how to make the program to get this answer. Pls note that I am a newbie in this product so I am still learning on how to use it.
