hi,
I am working in a nonlinear model of a brake. I get the equations of motion but but they are too long due to the nonlinearities. I would like to linearize them by doing the following substitutions:
Sin[qi]=qi
Cos[qi]=1
Is it possible for mathematica to do it?
How can I perfom such a substitution?
I appreciate your help.
