a question about substitution

I want to simplify an expession by involing another equation through using the order Elimiate, and use Solve to solve the resulting equation, but using Solve will give more than one answer and one of them is what I want. How do I deal with this problem, the nb file is in the attachment. Any help will be appreciated!
