Hi all,
1.I'd like to first read in a set of x y z values.
They are in excel spreadsheet form and in donot have the Mathematica link for Excel. Thus, i have a list of x values, a list of y values and a list of z values.
2. Each point on the required surface are described by the corresponding elements in each list , i.e P1=(x[1],y[1],z[1]).
My objective now is to read in the data values, then plot a 3 dimensional (hopefully colour) curve/surface and then have Mathematica fit a curve of the type: z= fn(x,y) {preferred} OR Fn(x,y,z)=0 .
Anybody who can tell me how i can do the above?
Thanks, in advance,
