I'm new to Mathematica. My interest is in finding all the complex roots (for a certain precision, let's say) of a function f(z) = f(a+b*i) within the domain defined by a = [a_min, a_max] & b = [b_min, b_max]?
Does Mathematica have a routine for something like this? The build-in routine FindRoot only locates a root for a given starting search point through a Newton type search algorithm.
any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
