I am trying to solve "constrained optimization" with a CES function and a constraint (very standard optimization in economics). I am trying to solve it while not assiging the number for "beta". I get the result once I put number for "beta", but I would like to get the result without such assignment of number. Thus, I want to have a result as the expression of the beta being symbol rather than number. Is there any way I can do this? Please help. I am also attaching the notebook I am working with.
