thank you. I also received that instruction from Wolfram. Do you know how I can simplify this derivative in terms of symbolically something like 'normalpdf' is the derivative of the cumulative distribution function. Now that the derivative is being done, I get a very complicated looking chain rule expression. I know on paper I can do the derivative and make it simpler, so there must be a way in mathematica to do this as well.
