I set up 6 sliders in a Manipulate to control the amplitudes of freq, 2*freq ... 6*freq

It seems if you stick to even harmonics -nice sounds. Add in odd and yuk!!

Note on guitar - string excited roughly antinode of second harmonic -only by bridge if you want funky tones...

How does one get mathematica to make the tone sound longer than the generated waveform - if it begins and ends at same place could wrap round. Otherwise experimentation hampered by very long times to generate waveform.
