Hello
Please bear with me., my questions might sound dumb.i ma new mathematica user.
I wrk on mathematica 5.2
I know this random function in mathematica that generate ramdom numbers given a range.
I want such a random number generator that generates not from any range but from a Probability distribution defined by a function like e^x^7. and function has a defined range like x can vary from 0 to 100.
how can i do that. Tht is to make random function generate from a probabilty distribution defined by a afunction over a range of x.
