Hi

Thanks for that explanantion.
But the problem I am facing is , I am not generating a list, but i have a list from which i get my list plot.

and the exaple u gave is not sampling the values uniformly.

To put in other words. What I exactly need is , IF i have some list of 10 numbers ( that range from say 3 to 40), I want to sample it at 500 points, in such a manner that i get 500 points in the range of 3 to 40 only.

That means i want my "interpolation function" to generate 500 points in the range of 3 to 40, uniformlly.

Is that possible to do ?
