I'm having trouble with the Framed function's Background option. It seems to work fine and set the background color properly unless the specified color is white (or any RGBColor/Hue equivalent thereof). I can't figure out why this would be. Currently the Framed[] function goes around a plot and this is all in a Column on a Panel.
I could set the plot background to white and shrink the frame margins so it butts up against the plot graphic, but that seems completely unnecessary; I should be able to just set the background color of Framed[] to white (it works fine for other colors).
