I need to improve the running time of my code; thus i need to remove a Do from line of code below and somehow use Map or MapThread, but the problem is that i have used one Map already, and i can't figure out the arranging of pure functions in the line.

So i need to remove the Do from the following line, but i can't figure out a way to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated it.

Do[pickList =
Append[pickList,
Map[Pick[#, connections[[i]], 1] &, sequenceList]], {i, n}]
