I have been using mathematica 5.2 for a class project on gaussian beams. the end product is to create a graph of the beam waist and the spot sizes at distances from the beam waist. My roblem is that when I graph my two functions on the same graph I get straight, horizontal lines; yet when I graph them individually I get the curves I was expecting. Is there anyway I can change the scale on the y-axis so that I will indeed see both curves on 1 graph?
