Whenever I click on a link to a website from anywhere inside Mathematica (like the link to demonstrations), it appears to work, but my web browser doesn't do anything.
I am running the Linux student version of Mathematica on Ubuntu and Firefox is my default web browser. I have never had a problem like this with any other programs and I can't find record of anyone else with the same problem online so please help!
