ColorFunction may be what I need but I find the help on it quite confusing, to be honest. Basically I want to do the colorfunctionscaling, but I want to do the exact same scaling on a series of plots, not independently for each plot. I've attached a simple file - i'd like both plots to be scaled so -0.586->0, 0.0465->1. If you know how to do this, I'd be grateful to hear it.
