It is only occasionally possible to diagnose a problem from the error message generated. If you can provide the data that you are trying to fit (or a small subset if the data set is large, the function/model you are trying to fit, any other definitions needed for other symbols in your code and the FindFit command you used, more may be able to be said. You can attach a notebook with the data, model, and code to a new topic at: http://forums.wolfram.com/student-support/discussions/4
