I have one equation with two variables. It is impossible (in an algebraic way) to write down the equation that one of the variables is a function of the other variable.
I would like to be able to tell Mathematica to use for example for x certain values e.g. {x,-2,2,0.1} to give me/calculate the corresponding values for y so I can make a plot in 2D of x and y.
I have no idea how to do this. I am thinking in the lines of making a list or a table and then plot points. But I don't know how. I am pretty new at Mathematica.
Can anyone help me?
