Hello,
just configured a remote kernel on a Vista OS as seen on Wolfram site pages I see the messages :

1)
SSH encountered an error with the local network setup while launching kernel 'Xavier Kernel'.
2)
Needs["SubKernels`RemoteKernels`"]

LaunchKernels[RemoteMachine["Xavier"]]
LaunchRemote::rsh: Command rsh Xavier -n -l Giuseppe "math -mathlink -linkmode Connect -linkprotocol TCPIP -linkname 50156@192.168.0.2,50157@192.168.0.2 -subkernel -noinit >& /dev/null &" may have failed (exit code 1).
SubKernels`Protected`kernelFlush::time: Operation LinkWrite timed out after 15.` seconds.
KernelObject::rdead: Subkernel connected through remote[Xavier] appears dead. >>
$Failed

Norton 360 installed with default firewall rules on a LAN network .

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks.

Regards.
