Hello,

I want to connect to a SQLite3 database. Previously I used "Database`OpenDatabase" and "Database`QueryDatabase". But since I reinstalled the operating system (openSuse 11.1) this does not work anymore. The database query returns the error message "database or disk is full" although there is a lot of space (>6GB, db is <1MB) and write access to the db and it's directory.

However I would like to connect to the sqlite databse via OpenSQLConnection and JDBC. JDBC drivers can be found here:
http://www.zentus.com/sqlitejdbc/
http://www.ch-werner.de/javasqlite/overview-summary.html

I tried to copy these into $UserBaseDirectory/Applications/Java as the Mathematica documentation of JDBC[] suggest. Sadly I could not get this working.

Could someone explain to me how this is done? Where to copy which files and how to get access to the db via OpenSQLConnection[] and JDBC[]?

I would be interested in a solution to the problem with "Database`OpenDatabase", (disk full?), too. But this seems to be a problem with sqlite rather than Mathematica.

Thanks a lot!!!
