Well,
Look at the function Sec[n x] in the range of integration for n=1, 2, 3 etc.
For n=1 the point of singularity, where Cos[x] is zero, is outside the range of integration.
for n>1 this point is inside the range, and the integral does not converge
This is not a problem of Mathematica it is Mathematics.
