Hi -

I have taken data on the Federal Funds Rate from the FRED database. I imported that into Excel, and from Excel I imported the data (I have attached the spreadsheet if interested).

I would like to be able to manipulate the resulting plot by specifying a date range (by a slider or input), but cannot figure out how to tell Mathematica to limit the date range.

I have started by just trying to figure out how to plot the data starting from January 1, 2000 for example. What I have done so far is as below:

fedrate =
Import["Fed Rate.xls"]

DateListPlot[fedrate, {2000, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0.}]

The "{2000,1,1,0,0,0.}" is me trying to get the plot to start at 01/01/00 (because that is how the date format appeared in the Output from the first line)

Any hints/tips/suggestions would be very welcome!
