I am working on a problem and want to use Prolate Spheroidal coordinates. However, the definition that Mathematica uses is different from the definition that I want to use. (I want to use the 'Alternate Definition' described http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prolate_spheroidal_coordinates; apparently Mathematica used the first definition on this page).
What I think I need to do:
Define my own Prolate Spherical Coordinates.
My question:
Can you define your own coordinates in Mathematica?
