Hi, I'm working through the excellent Jon H.Mathews module on Schwarz-Christoffel mapping, his examples use mathematica 5.2, my version is 7.0.

So I'm wondering what the correct syntax for plotting a ParametricPlot, given that this takes over the functionality of CartesianMap in his examples:

5.2 code is:

Needs["Graphics'ComplexMap'"];
CartesianMap[f,{-2,2,0.25},{0.000001,4.000001,0.25}]

Where f is the function being mapped.

My 7.0 code is:

ParametricPlot[
Through [Re, Im] f[x + I*y], {x, -2, 2}, {y, 0.000001, 4.000001}]

.... this simply gives me an empty plot.

Any help greatly appreciated.
