I just got my mathmatica 3.0 today and I am having trouble understanding how to input functions.The reason I bought this thing is to explain a calculus problem involving a paraboloid telescope.All I want to do is make a graph of a parabola y=kx^2 (with k being any positive constant) and be able to type in my relevant points on the graph and explain what is going on in the report below the graph.I have to have this report in tuesday 2-9-99.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
