This is nuts! As of several days ago, Mathematica saves everything as pure text. In other words, all calculations no longer work, the colors are gone, and the saved nb file comes back as pure text.
In Mathematica, all the calculations show up as "Input" under style. Yet, they are just inactive text. Evaluating the notebook just leads to nothing: there is nothing there to calculate anymore!
What is going on? Is the nb format the wrong one to use? I just lost two days of work because of this. I am wary about redoing the work as it may disappear again. Any clues?
