hi i' m trying to create a surface from a sinusoyd , what i want is a sinusoyd like y=sinx in 2d estruded in 3d, but in a parametric plot in cylindrical coordinate U V and r, like this cilynder

colonne2 = ParametricPlot3D[
cilindro[4.5][u, v] + {-2, 0, 0},
{u, 2/3 Pi, 4/3 Pi}, {v, 1, 4.5},
PlotRange -> {{-10, 10}, {-10, 10}, {-10, 10}}]

cilindro[r_][u_, v_] := {r*Cos[u], r*Sin[u], v}

how can i define a synusoid instead a cirle?

thank you im very poor in mathematics

thank you
