Hi,
I would like to obtain a 2D image from a Plot3D output. When I try to save the plot as an eps file, I notice that the resulting file is much larger than one would expect for a 2D image, and I believe this is due to the fact that all of the data required to rotate the plot (this is Mathematica Version 7) is being saved, when all I want is the 2D image. The resulting file is too big to open with applications such as Adobe Illustrator. I have tried saving as a different file-type, but often the resulting image has very poor resolution. Is there some way to save the plot as a 2D (eps) image so that it is small enough that I can open it in other applications?
Thank you,
Mike Anderson
