I am trying to compute the taylor series of the function
Sqrt[ a*x^8 + b*x^4*y^4 + c*y^8]
centered at (0,0) and a,b,c constants. I want to know the coefficients for the leading order terms in the taylor series, but mathematica gives different values when the order of differentiation is taken.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?
