Hi,
I have an odd problem with the user interface. When I start typing in a new cell, after the first character, the window focus changes and I can't type any more until I change back by hitting Esc or clicking back in the cell. This also happens consistently after I enter a carriage return or backspace to erase a carriage return.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong here. I have used Mathematica quite a bit and this is a recent problem. I even reinstalled and it went away for a while, but not it's back.
I am running Mathematica for Students, the Microsoft Windows 3.0.0.0 version, under Windows 95 4.00.950a on a Dell Dimension XPS 133c (pentium 133 MHz) system. I haven't installed any new software since this problem has started and no other software I use (like the MS Office Suite) is exhibiting a similar problem.
