Hi,
I'm quite novice to Mathemetica.
I wonder why the following doesn't give the same result
N[PolyLog[3, 1 + 1 I]]
= 0.871159 + 1.26708 I
and its explicit summation according to the polylog definition
i.e sum_{m=1}^Infinity{(1 + 1 I)^m/m^3 }
Sum::div: Sum does not converge
= ComplexInfinity
I'm just trying to find out approximately how many terms are required to approximate the polylog, so expected the above two forms to give the same answer
