Hello there,
I would try updating your version of Mathematica if that helps, but more than likely it won't. While using the Mathematica versions available at school over the past few years I have noticed little if any improvements to the LaTeX generation capabilities of Mathematica.
I have had similar issues with working with Mathematica. I really wish they would support LaTeX and packages especially like amsmath which is much more likely to find its way into a real journal or a document for a book than the Mathematica scipt.
Hope this helps. Man it has been a long time on here since anyone has responded to you! I guess "Student Support Forum" is just a way for students to help each other and it is not moderated by Mathematica people.
